From the Los Angeles Daily News comes word that USC quarterback Mark Sanchez will have private workouts with the Jets.
Though not necessarily revealing as to a team’s actual intentions, the fact that an NFL franchise plans to have a private workout with a top prospect is typically newsworthy.
The Jets hold the No. 17 overall pick in round one.
